At
ICC Cleaning our philosophy centers around 4 core values which help us
to provide a great service to our clients and make a positive contribution
to the New Zealand economy and environment.
1) We believe it is important we look after our staff At ICC Cleaning we believe that the quality of service you receive
depends on the way we treat our staff. Our managing director (Alfredo)
believes that “A good company looks after its staff – then its staff
will look after the clients”. We recognize that happy employees
do the best job.
2) We strive to ensure ethical business practices and management We view management as a dynamic personal exchange in which to engage
socially responsible work processes. Giving employees opportunities for
personal and professional development is crucial. Alfredo says...“As
much as I enjoy seeing the company grow, I enjoy watching people grow
in the process”. We encourage employees to contribute with enthusiasm
and innovation across the company, and acknowledge their efforts. We
want our staff to enjoy coming to work and the contribution they make
to both ICC Cleaning and the satisfaction of clients.
3) We address the environmental impact of commercial cleaning. In our daily lives we aren’t always in a position to control the
extent of pollutants that surround us, but by opting for environmentally
friendly cleaning materials we are able to take a positive step in the
right direction. Customers are becoming increasingly concerned about
the harsh ingredients that make up many common cleaning agents. Growing
demand for products that are kind to the environment as well as increased
consciousness within our company has lead to our adoption of environmentally
friendly products whenever it is possible to do so without jeopardizing
the quality of our cleaning service.
4) We understand the value of keeping up to date with the latest cleaning
technologies In order to provide our clients the best service we conduct ongoing
research into specialist cleaning techniques, equipment and technology.
This allows us to provide a service which is efficient, reliable and
of a continually high standard. It also allows us to keep ahead of our
competition and ensure the service we provide is unsurpassable.
History
ICC Cleaning began humbly in 1988 when Alfredo Sequeiros, arriving
in New Zealand (from South America) took a financial gamble and spent
a large portion of his savings on a $5000 carpet-cleaning machine.
Friends and family thought he had gone mad, but it wasn’t long
before his machine had returned its investment.
Over the next 15 years, ICC Cleaning grew solely by word of mouth as
satisfied clients recommended our services to colleagues and friends.
With no marketing, no sales representation or even an ad in the yellow
pages the company went on to become one of Auckland’s most substantial
commercial cleaning companies. This remarkable growth has been due to
a total focus on delivering consistently high service and exceeding client
expectations.
2003 marked the beginning of a new era in ICC Cleanings’ company
development. With sound business practices, satisfied customers and great
staff, the company has undergone a time of expansion, new business development
and is now combining the commercial world of cleaning with marketing.
